Healthy and Flavourful Cauliflower Rice

Instagram is full of inspiration. If you are ever looking to make a recipe but have no idea where to start, use the “tag” tab on Instagram. You can type in any hashtag and thousands of post will come up. I am a visual person, so all of the results are pictures not words. This makes it easier to find the look you are going for faster.

The other day I searched the hashtag #cauliflowerrice and thousands of posts came up. I found the one I liked and was easily able to follow the recipe. If you are unfamiliar with cauliflower rice, you can find it in any grocery store these days. I have seen it in the freezer section and the produce section. I like to add julienned carrots, brocoli slaw, scallions, and an egg to mine. From most of the recipes availble, they have similar variations. It is also important to have rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, and sesaeme oil avialble to add that classic friend race flavor. For a healthy soy sauce substitue try some of Bragg’s Coconut Aminos. It is a quick swap that will become your next pantry staple.
