If you are looking for good mexican in Knoxville that is not El Mezcal or El Charro. Go no further. SoKno Taco Cantina is one of a kind. This local mexican joint in South Knoxville is a classic hangout for anyone who is lover of chips and salsa with an occasional margarita.
The first time I went to SoKno, it was a sunny Sunday afternoon. I had just hiked in the Smokies with friends and we were looking for a fun place where we could sit outside. We had heard good things about SoKno and decided to give it a try. We snagged a seat on the deck and enjoyed fresh chips and salsa before ordering. They have a wide range of tacos, quesodillas, nachos, and so much more. Alongside the food, they have great maragrtias to enjoy with friends on a hot summer day. The best part about SoKno is their patio. It is a great place to enjoy people watching while listening to music.
Every since my first time, I have gone back almost every month. It has become one of the best places to go when a group of friends want to sit and talk for hours. They have great happy hour deals and dogs are always welcome. You can find them on Instagram here!
