I have always found that when I am looking for inspiration, Instagram has some of the best ideas. There are so many accounts, from brands we all know, but also from people who just love to share what they make online. Over the years, I have found a few accounts that I have really grown to love.
From videos, to pictures, to how to’s, I can always count on Bon Appetit to post a classic photo of a dish that I would only be making in my dreams.

Their most recent post features a Spiced Lamb Tagine, which is tender lamb stew tossed with red onion and mint, topped with almonds. I would normally not make lamb, but when they post things like this, I can be persuaded.
You may be thinking, I have never heard of Food 52. With 2.1 million followers, Food 52 has been posting with intentions of providing their followers with recipes that will help them “Eat thoughtfully, live joyfully”. I remember seeing that in their bio when I first started following them, and smiled. Food should make you feel joyful! When I see their posts, I always smile, especially the ones about sweet treats. Yes, they post all kinds of food, but here are two of my recent favorite dessert postings.
Chocolate chip cookies and banana bread. How could things get any better? There is something about chocolate chip cookies that I cannot resist. I think it is because my mom would always make them when I was kid. For the banana bread, it is just a classic treat, that is so easy to make. Food52, always gives credit to the account who creates the recipe. They make it easy to find other food accounts to follow. Which has resulted in my entire Instagram feed being filled with pictures of food. But that doesn’t seem to bother me.
