Yesterday was March 14, also known as 3.14 day. This holiday was designed to celebrate the mathmatical term for pie, 3.14. It it celebrated in the thrid month of the year, on the fourteenth day of the month. Many restaurants around the country offered special promotions to celebrate pie. One of my favorite pizza places, Blaze Pizza, was offering their personal size pizzas for only $3.14! This is a crazy deal, becuase usually one can expect to spend about $10 when taking a trip to this pizza joint.
At Blaze you can customize a red, white, or pesto pizza to your liking. They have so many toppings to choose from and you can get as many as you want for one set price. I am a big fan of pesto pizza. I usually get a pesto sauce with mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, goat cheese, chicken, spinach, and garlic. That is my usual order, but since then they have added many more toppings like turkey meatballs, brusselsprouts, and banana peppers. There is definitely something for everyone.
